Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee on April 18, received and worked with Mr. Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam at the Provincial Party Committee’s Headquarters. In the attendance were representatives of leaders of a number of the province’s departments and branches.
At the working session
Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia introduced an overview of the socio-economic development achievements, potentials, advantages and development orientations of Hung Yen province in the coming years. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized: Hung Yen province is always ready to cooperate with Cuban localities in the areas which both sides have strengths, especially in sharing experiences in socio-economic development; wishes to cooperate with Cuban partners in the fields of training medical human resources, pharmaceutical production and biotechnology... At the same time, he expressed his confidence in continuing to receive support and close cooperation from the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam and his colleagues so that the friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba in general and between Cuba and Hung Yen province in particular will become increasingly strong and develop further.
Mr. Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam, congratulated and highly appreciated the socio-economic development achievements of Hung Yen province in recent years. At the same time, he expressed his appreciation for the rich tradition and history of Hung Yen land. The Ambassador affirmed that the working session, the thoughtful reception and the information exchange between the two sides have contributed to demonstrating the traditional solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba towards the 65th founding anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025). Cuba warmly welcomes Hung Yen businesses to visit and invest in the fields of agricultural production, livestock breeding... Cuba will also coordinate to support the training of human resources for health and education for Hung Yen province in the best conditions.
