According to the reports of the units: The project to upgrade and expand the extended Hanoi - Hung Yen interprovincial road, the section passing through Hung Yen province has a length of about 33.5 km, with a total investment of nearly 2.9 trillion VND. In particular, section one from the intersection with the provincial road No. 379B to the intersection in the middle of the road to the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway toll station with the road connecting the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Gie Bridge - Ninh Binh expressway, has a length of about 14.8km; section two (extended) from the intersection between the provincial road No. 380 and the National Highway No. 39 to Gay bridge (bordering Bac Ninh province), has a length of about 18.7km. The project started construction in December 2021. By June 30, 2024, the project has completed about 70% of the contract volume and has disbursed 104.44/394 billion VND, equivalent to 26.5% of the 2024 plan. The entire site is about 19km long in Yen My district, which has basically been handed over to the construction unit.

The project to renovate and upgrade the provincial road No. 380 (the section from the district road No. 34 to My Hao Electricity) has a total investment of 66 billion VND. The project has a length of about 785m, with a high-grade pavement structure A1. To date, the project has completed about 70% of the construction volume and expected to be basically completed by December 31, 2024.

The extended road construction project from the National Highway No. 39 to the district road No. 42 has a total investment of 205 billion VND. To date, the project has constructed the roadbed, sidewalks, drainage and other items; bridge work is underway. It is expected that by December 31, 2024, construction will reach 57% of the project volume.

The Dong Than Industrial Cluster construction investment project has a total area requiring site clearance of about 76.2 hectares. To date, Yen My district has cleared 54.9 hectares. There are 128 households corresponding to an area of ​​13.1 hectares and the land area managed by the Commune People's Committee is completing the compensation and support plan. To strive to complete the approval of the compensation and support plan in July 2024.

The Yen My II Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project has an expected recovered area of ​​about 216 hectares. Currently, there still exists agricultural land of 3 households that have not received compensation or support. There are 29 households with assets and trees on public land in Trung Hoa commune who have not agreed to receive compensation and support.

At the inspected projects, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested: Yen My district coordinates with investors and construction units to focus on removing difficulties in site clearance work and speeding up implementation progress. To focus on project quality management, ensuring labor safety and traffic safety during construction.

For the project to upgrade and expand the extended Hanoi - Hung Yen interprovincial road, the section passing through Hung Yen province, the investor coordinates with departments and branches to urgently complete section one of the project, to open to traffic before September 2, 2024. For section two, urge construction contractors to focus on human resources and machinery, speed up project implementation, and ensure project progress and quality. To require the construction unit to develop a plan and sign a commitment on progress. For the Yen My II Industrial Park project, Yen My district urgently completes site clearance steps and soon hands over the cleared site to the investor for infrastructure construction.

Regarding industrial cluster projects in the district, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia requested Yen My district to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review industrial clusters that are behind schedule and propose to the province solutions for problems; at the same time, coordinate with departments and branches to complete investment procedures and speed up site clearance progress. For traffic projects invested by Yen My district, urge the construction unit to speed up progress and put the projects into operation soon, thereby promoting the district's socio-economic development.
