Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, Prime Minister on March 18, received Mr. Charles James Boyd Bowman, General Director of Trump Organization's project in Vietnam, at the Government Headquarters.

At the meeting
At the meeting, a representative of Trump Organization reported on the project of urban complex, eco-tourism, sports and high-class golf course to be invested in Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province. The project has a total estimated investment of about 1.5 billion USD, proposed by a joint venture between Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company and IDG Capital (a representative of Trump Organization).
According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed on September 25, 2024 between the People's Committee of Hung Yen province and this joint venture, the parties committed to funding research, survey, planning and implementation of the project, including: Urban complex, resort, eco-tourism, sports and high-class golf course in Khoai Chau district.
With a scale of about 722 hectares, this Urban complex, resort, eco-tourism, sports and high-class golf course aims to develop an urban and tourism area according to international standards, with synchronous technical and social infrastructure. Thereby, contributing to promoting the potential and advantages of the area, while attracting tourists to visit and relax.
In addition, the Tu Dan Rural Residential Area (covering an area of about 200 hectares) will be built with mixed-use functions, synchronizing technical infrastructure, social infrastructure with housing according to regulations...

Speaking at the reception, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that since Vietnam and the United States became Comprehensive Strategic Partners, bilateral economic and trade relations have continued to develop strongly. However, US investment in Vietnam still has much room for growth.
The Prime Minister suggested that the Trump Organization expand its investment in potential localities and fields in Vietnam; strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises, support them to participate in the global ecosystem and supply chain; have a voice in promoting high-level visits between the two countries...
Mr. Charles James Boyd Bowman, General Director of the Trump Organization’s project in Vietnam, expressed his gratitude for the support of ministries, branches and Hung Yen province. He said that the company is working closely with the authorities to speed up the project's progress, aiming to complete it in March 2027 to serve the APEC 2027 Conference, making the golf course in Hung Yen one of the leading golf courses in Vietnam and a famous destination in the world.
In addition, the Trump Organization is studying to expand investment in other fields in Vietnam and boost visits by the Group's leaders to Vietnam, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's image in the international arena and in relations with the US government.
