Speaking at the launching of the emulation movements, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council, emphasized: The implementation of the two emulation movements is of great importance in quickly putting the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress into practice, creating new momentum for socio-economic development. Science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and green transformation are identified as the foundation for improving productivity, competitiveness and self-reliance of the economy; in which the state economy plays a leading role, and the private economy is an important driving force of growth and innovation.
The Prime Minister requested ministries, sectors, and localities to innovate management thinking towards development-oriented approaches, focusing on perfecting institutions, improving the investment and business environment; and promoting the application of science, technology, digital transformation - green transformation in management, production, and business. The implementation of emulation movements must set specific goals, content, and criteria, linked to the political tasks of each agency and unit, avoiding formality and superficiality; at the same time, it is necessary to promptly identify and replicate effective models, creating a ripple effect in society.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, representatives from ministries, sectors, localities, and businesses delivered speeches in support, expressing their determination to effectively implement emulation movements, contributing to promoting economic growth, improving productivity, quality, and competitiveness of the economy.
