The Khoai Chau Urban, Eco-tourism, Golf Course Complex Project (project) covers a total planning area of ​​over 990 hectares. The project is located in 7 communes, including: Tu Dan, Tan Chau, Dong Ket, Dong Ninh, Dai Tap, Lien Khe, Chi Minh with a total investment capital of over 39 trillion VND. The project is divided into 4 sub-zones, including an eco-residential area linked with a luxury golf course; an eco-residential area associated with an ecological golf course, a commercial and service urban area and a green area, themed parks. The golf course has 54 golf holes with an area of ​​over 241 hectares, including a 36-hole course and an 18-hole course. The themed park is about 99 hectares. The land area for social housing development is over 7 hectares.

The project was proposed for investment and implementation by a consortium of Hung Yen Investment and Development Group Joint Stock Company, a member of Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) and IDG Capital, a representative of the Trump Organization Group (USA).

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van affirmed: This is a large investment project, of important significance in socio-economic development, a special political task assigned by the Central Party Committee and the Government to Hung Yen province. The project has received special attention from the Central Government, the Government, ministries and central branches, and has received high approval and support from cadres, Party members and people, and public attention. It is not only an important milestone in the socio-economic development of Hung Yen province but also a symbol of international cooperation, contributing to tightening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the United States, towards the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that this is an important project, very meaningful to Hung Yen province and the region on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, welcoming the 135th birth anniversary of the great President Ho Chi Minh, towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, 1945.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the project started today has many important meanings. These include promoting the relationship between Vietnam and the United States to become increasingly deep, substantial and effective; affirming the trust of foreign investors, including many large US investors who have invested in Vietnam; contributing to the development of Hung Yen to become green, clean and beautiful; enhancing the brand value of Hung Yen province in particular and Vietnam in general in technology transfer, attracting FDI projects of foreign investors; contributing to creating jobs and livelihoods for people in many localities.

In order for the project to be completed on schedule as committed by the investor, the Prime Minister requested ministries and branches to closely follow and support Hung Yen province in the project implementation process to have a product to welcome the APEC Conference in 2027 held in Vietnam. The investor continues to complete the project design, organize construction on schedule, and ensure quality. The authorities of Hung Yen province have done a good job of site clearance, ensuring a stable life, better living conditions for the people than their old places of residence and cultivation, contributing to the most effective implementation of the project.

The Prime Minister commended and thanked the people in the project area for their willingness to give up their land, places of worship, and places of residence to have a site to carry out this important and meaningful project.

The Prime Minister stated: Hung Yen is a place with a heroic history and culture, a land of outstanding people, the people of Hung Yen have made great contributions and sacrifices in the struggle to protect the Fatherland, gain national independence, and unify the country. Hung Yen province has a lot of experience in industrial, urban and service development. Up to now, Hung Yen is one of the leading provinces in the country in economic development. Hopefully, promoting the reputation of the land of “The first is Kinh Ky, the second is Pho Hien” in the past, today, Hung Yen province will continue to join the whole country in stepping firmly into the era of rising up, developing richly, civilizedly and prosperously.
