Prime Minister launches the emulation movement titled "Determined to successfully achieve sustainable double-digit growth target for the period of 2026-2030"

Speaking to launch the emulation movement, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Chairman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council, emphasized: The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam has opened a new era of national development with the goal of striving to become a developing country with modern industry and highly middle income by 2030, and a developed country with high income by 2045. To realize that aspiration, it requires rapid and sustainable economic growth of 10% or higher per year during the 2026-2030 period.

According to Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, in the context of many opportunities and advantages but also greater and more difficult challenges, to successfully achieve a double-digit growth, we cannot follow old paths, old ways of thinking, or old methods. Instead, we must have "Strategic Vision - Breakthrough Thinking - Decisive Action - Sustainable Growth - People's Happiness." This is the slogan, the spirit, and the goal for which the Central Emulation and Commendation Council decided to launch the emulation movement titled "Determined to successfully achieve the goal of sustainable double-digit growth in the 2026-2030 period."

The Prime Minister called on all levels, sectors, localities, the people, and the business community to continue to highly promote the patriotic tradition and the spirit of patriotic emulation, and to wholeheartedly compete in the following aspects: strongly reforming the thinking on building and perfecting development institutions; promoting the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation; competing to develop synchronous and modern infrastructure; building a modern, professional, honest, grassroots-oriented administration that serves the people better and more effectively; practicing thrift and combating wastefulness; strictly managing the national budget and resources; consolidating and strengthening national defense, security, and foreign relations; developing cultural values, improving the quality and effectiveness of education and healthcare, ensuring the ecological environment and social security.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung requested that all levels, sectors, and localities quickly concretize the emulation movement with specific, practical programs and plans. Every citizen should consider emulation as a voluntary act, a self-driven need, stemming from even the smallest actions. The Prime Minister believes that the emulation movement will create a new momentum, new impetus, awaken the will for self-reliance and self-improvement, the spirit of innovation and creativity, and the aspiration to contribute of the entire nation, contributing to building a country that is increasingly prosperous, civilized, and happy.
