Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang visits and presents Tet gifts in Hung Yen province
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026, on the afternoon of February 8, a delegation from the Central Government, led by General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security, visited and presented Tet gifts to the Hung Yen Provincial Public Security and Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company. He was accompanied by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The gift-giving ceremony drew the attendance of: Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen Province; Members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board; the Standing members of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen Province.

At the Provincial Public Security, Minister Luong Tam Quang and delegates presented 200 gift packages to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households in the province. The remaining 400 packages will be distributed by the province to other poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang extended New Year greetings to the people of Hung Yen province; and expressed his hope that Party committees, government agencies, departments, and mass organizations in the province would continue to pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of the people during the traditional Tet holiday, ensuring that everyone and every family can enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate Tet holiday; and maintain political security and social order and safety.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia respectfully thanked Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for their concern for poor households, near-poor households, and households with difficult circumstances in the province. In the coming time, the Party committee and government of the province will continue to lead and direct the effective implementation of social security and sustainable poverty reduction; and provide support to families with difficult circumstances, creating conditions for them to improve their lives.

Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang extended his best wishes for good health and a happy new year to all workers and employees in the enterprises; and expressed his hope that the Tet gifts would be a timely source of encouragement and motivation, helping workers and their families to have a happier and warmer new year. The Minister of Public Security suggested that, in the coming period, Hung Yen Garment Corporation - Joint Stock Company and other enterprises should promote the application of science, technology, and digital transformation in production and business; and pay attention to training and improving the quality and skills of workers. Through this, they should work together with the Party Committee and the government to build a more developed Hung Yen province.
