Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Industry-Energy Group sign a development cooperation agreement

On the side of Hung Yen province the conference saw the presence of comrade Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; comrades of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Speaking at the conference, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee congratulated the achievements of the Vietnam National Industry-Energy Group in recent times and its great contributions to the national economy; at the same time, he highly appreciated the member units of the group for their strong investment and effective promotion of projects in the former Thai Binh province and the merged Hung Yen province. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee briefly introduced the conditions, potentials and strengths of Hung Yen province for the Group to invest in its strong fields; the goals and solutions for Hung Yen province to realize the goal of soon becoming a centrally-run city, a fast-growing, strong and stable locality of the whole country. He affirmed that Hung Yen province will support and accompany the Group and its member units to report to the competent authorities to remove difficulties and obstacles in investment, production, business and create favorable conditions for the Group and its member units in the process of the work performance according to the content of the cooperation framework minutes.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Manh Hung, the Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Industry- Energy Group emphasized that this cooperation agreement is an extension and enhancement of the strategy for national interests, at the same time demonstrating concrete steps to realize the major orientations of the Party and State on regional connectivity, green economic development, energy transition, innovation and international integration. In the coming time, with potential and strategic goals, in addition to existing projects, the two sides will continue to coordinate to implement key activities to support the development of local value chains and businesses. The Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Industry-Energy Group expressed his belief that with high political determination and a flexible coordination mechanism from the highest level to specialized agencies, the cooperative relationship between the Vietnam National Industry-Energy Group and Hung Yen province will be substantial, effective, bringing practical and sustainable values.

At the conference, delegates exchanged experiences, discussed specific contents and agreed to sign a development cooperation framework. The cooperation contents include: Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Industry- Energy Group lead and direct the Party committees and affiliated Party organizations to seriously and effectively implement the Regulations on coordination of work between the Party Committees of economic groups, corporations, and state-owned commercial banks with local Party committees according to Decision No. 61-QD/TW dated March 8, 2022 of the Central Party Secretariat and relevant Party regulations; coordinate on personnel work, party members, Party organization building, the rewards and disciplines for the Group's member units in the province according to Party regulations; coordinate on inspection and supervision of Party organizations and party members of the Group's member units in the province; coordinate in propagating, disseminating, thoroughly grasping and implementing resolutions, conclusions, directives, policies and regulations of the Central Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board; coordinate the leadership of business development and investment of the Group and its member units in the province and the socio-economic development of the locality.
