Hung Yen plans to adjust the housing development program for the period 2021 - 2030
The Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee’s Party Committee on May 5, held a conference to review and comment on a number of important contents, including reviewing and commenting on the draft submission of the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the Adjustment of the Housing Development Program of Hung Yen Province for the period 2021 - 2030. Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee’s Party Committee chaired the conference.

According to the draft submission of the Provincial People's Committee, the Resolution on the Housing Development Program of Hung Yen Province to 2025 and with an orientation to 2030 (the Program) was approved by the Provincial People's Council on March 16, 2022. Currently, the basis for the Program development has changed such as: Housing Law, Real Estate Business Law, newly issued decrees and circulars. The implementation status of housing projects that have been carried out needs to be reviewed and updated...
Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the Program to comply with current legal regulations. In particular, in the period of 2021 - 2030, the whole province strives to complete and put into use about 47.5 million m2 of housing floor, equivalent to about 300 thousand houses, raising the average housing area of the whole province to 40 m2 of floor/person, of which urban areas reach 42.0 m2 of floor/person, rural areas reach 37 m2 of floor/person. To maintain the housing quality standards in urban and rural areas: by 2030, strive to improve the quality of solid and semi-solid housing to 100%, with no more simple housing in the entire province (including urban and rural areas).
The expected land area for social housing development (independent projects) in the 2021-2030 period is 262.4 hectares, of which the expected land area for housing construction for the armed forces is 3.25 hectares. The draft submission also includes other important adjustments...
Concluding the conference, Comrade Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People’s Committee’s Party Committee agreed on the policy of the proposed content for the Provincial People's Council to adjust, and assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with districts, town, city, and relevant agencies to supplement the content of the draft submission to adjust the Housing Development Program of Hung Yen province for the period 2021 - 2030 to ensure compliance with current regulations...
