Delegates cut the ribbon to open Hung Yen Orange Market 2024

Hung Yen Orange Market 2024 has attracted 50 booths of enterprises, cooperatives, and gardeners in the province. Of which, 30 booths introduced and sold fresh oranges and citrus fruits; 20 booths introduced and sold processed agricultural products, handicraft products and some typical agricultural products of the province.

Currently, in the whole province there are over 1.7 thousand hectares of oranges, grown mainly in such localities as Van Giang, Khoai Chau, Kim Dong, Phu Cu, Hung Yen city. Of which, the area of ​​oranges certified to meet VietGAP standards is about 700 hectares. This year, the total orange output of the province is estimated at 25 - 28 thousand tons of fruit.

At the market, Hung Yen oranges were sold at price ranging from 40 - 60 thousand VND/kg; Duong Canh oranges were sold at price of 70 - 100 thousand VND/kg. On the opening day, the market has attracted about 10 thousand visitors to visit, shop, and enjoy fresh oranges and typical agricultural products of the province.
