Hung Yen attracts a record of nearly 4.5 billion USD in investment capital

In the first 5 months of 2025, Hung Yen province has attracted nearly 4.5 billion USD in domestic investment capital and foreign direct investment (FDI). This is a record high capital level for the billion-dollar urban mega-projects invested in the province.

According to statistics from the beginning of the year until now, in Hung Yen province there are 47 domestic projects and 32 FDI projects registering for new investment and increased capital with a total capital equivalent to 4.48 billion USD. This number is more than 2 times higher than the capital of 2.1 billion USD attracted in the whole year of 2024.

The reason for such a high increase is that there are 2 billion-dollar projects invested in the area. In which, the project of urban complex, eco-tourism and Khoai Chau golf course with the commercial name Trump International Hung Yen has just started construction with an investment capital of over 39,000 billion VND, equivalent to more than 1.5 billion USD.

In addition, the investment project to build the subdivision A - Urban area north of National Highway No. 5 in Pho Noi Urban Area (previously assigned to Hoa Phat Group as the investor, is being re-bid) has now increased its capital to 35,000 billion VND, equivalent to 1.4 billion USD, 10 times higher than the previously registered capital.

Also in the first 5 months of the year, Hung Yen province has attracted over 530 million USD of FDI capital. Currently, the whole province has over 2,400 valid investment projects with a total registered capital equivalent to nearly 28 billion USD.
