On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia reported to General Secretary To Lam and the delegation on the outstanding results in Party building and socio-economic development of Hung Yen province in 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, Hung Yen province has completed, over-fulfilled, and comprehensively completed all socio-economic development targets. The scale of the economy reached 160 trillion VND. The total state budget revenue in the area attained 40,642 billion VND. The industrial and service economy is increasingly developing; the urbanization rate reached 46%. The cultural and social sectors have developed stably. In the whole province there are 100% of communes meeting the advanced new-style rural standards; over 30% of communes meeting the model new-style rural standards; Van Giang and Phu Cu districts meeting the advanced new-style rural district standards. The poverty rate decreased to 0.44%.

In 2024, the Party building work received comprehensive attention from the province’s Party Committee; the work of inspection, supervision, enforcement of Party discipline, and the fight against corruption, waste, and negativity were strictly implemented. The solidarity and unity within the Party were consolidated and enhanced; the level, political mettle, leadership capacity, and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members in the Party Committee have been improved; The role and effectiveness of the Party's comprehensive leadership and the State's management and administration of all aspects of social life are guaranteed.

In particular, paying special attention to investing in developing a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, especially transport infrastructure and power grid infrastructure to serve industrial and service development; promoting administrative reform, creating all conditions for enterprises to operate production and business effectively. To focus on taking care of the lives of people with meritorious services, doing a good job of poverty reduction, ensuring social security and maintaining social equality, striving for Hung Yen province to have no poor households...
