Speaking at the launching ceremony of the Tree Plantation Festival, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van emphasized: In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the first days of the New Year, commemorating the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 66th anniversary of Uncle Ho's launching of the Tree Plantation Festival, implementing the Prime Minister's Project "Planting 1 billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025", the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province solemnly organized the launching ceremony of "Tree Plantation Festival forever in gratitude to Uncle Ho" in Spring At Ty 2025, an opportunity for us to continue to promote the study and following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh according to his teachings: "Spring is the tree plantation festival, making the country more and more springy". Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van stated: On November 28, 1959, President Ho Chi Minh launched the "Tree Plantation Festival". Since then, "Tree Plantation Festival" has become a widespread mass movement, a beautiful feature in Vietnamese traditional culture. Recognizing the great role and significance in many aspects of the People's tree plantation work, every year, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organize the Spring Tree Plantation Festival Launching Ceremony. From 2022 to now, the whole province has planted 126,633 trees (exceeding 173.5% of the plan); of which, in 2024, 38,404 trees were planted (exceeding 160% of the plan). The whole province has formed 185 new green tree-lined roads in urban areas, industrial parks, and residential areas with a total budget for planting People's trees of 92.6 billion VND. Along with planting People's trees, the areas with crop structure conversion are also concentratedly planted with one type of fruit tree, contributing to protecting the ecological environment and increasing economic value in agricultural production.

In order to well implement the tree plantation plan in 2025 and the following years, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, organizations, agencies, units, and the People's Committees of districts, town, and city in the province to continue to well implement Plan No. 168/KH-UBND dated November 8, 2021 to ensure tree plantation according to the plan, each street only plants one type of tree, and promote extensive propaganda in many forms to the masses and the business community about the purpose and meaning of the Tree Plantation Festival; on the role, great effects, comprehensive and long-term benefits, and humanistic values ​​of trees plantation and protection; organize and perform tree plantation in accordance with the conditions of each locality and unit to ensure practical and effective results.
