Accordingly, in 2024, Hung Yen province has completed, exceeded and comprehensively completed all socio-economic development targets. The economic growth rate reached 7.7%. Total state budget revenue in the area attained 40,642 billion VND. The cultural and social sector has developed stably. In the whole province there are 100% of communes meeting the advanced new-style rural standards; over 30% of communes meeting the model new-style rural standards; Van Giang and Phu Cu districts meeting the advanced new-style rural district standards. The province has paid attention to social security work. The Party building work has received comprehensive attention from the Provincial Party Committee in terms of politics, ideology and organization; the work of inspection, supervision, enforcement of Party discipline, and the fight against corruption, waste and negativity have been strictly implemented. On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia wished former President Truong Tan Sang good health in the new year.
