The work of prevention and control of corruption, wastefullness and negative phenomena in the province has been implemented drastically, synchronously and achieved quite clear results. The Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee has led, directed the dissemination, and strict implementation of policies, documents and instructions of the Central Party Committee and the Central Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefullness and Negative Phenomena. The Provincial Steering Committee has completed its direction and removed one case and one incident from the monitoring and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee; directed the provincial prosecution agencies to closely coordinate and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in investigation, prosecution, trial, judicial appraisal, asset valuation, recovery of corrupt assets and speed up the handling of complicated corruption and negative cases and incidents that the public is concerned about occurring in the province in accordance with the Party's regulations and the State's laws.

Regarding the key tasks of the second quarter: the Party committees, authorities, sectors and organizations from the provincial to grassroots levels focus on leading and directing the serious implementation of documents of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, the Standing Board of the Central Steering Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee on internal affairs and prevention and control of corruption, wastefullness and negative phenomena work. To focus on completing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to the conclusions of the Central Steering Committee and the Plan of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board to prevent hostile forces from taking advantage to sabotage, incite, cause disorder, protests, and riots; carry out the prevention and control of corruption, wastefullness and negative phenomena work in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus... In his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption, Wastefullness and Negative Phenomena, assessed: Although the first quarter is the time of the traditional New Year of the nation, many festivals take place, and violations of the law are likely to arise; the work of arranging the apparatus of provincial and district-level agencies has many impacts on the psychology of a number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees... the internal affairs and prevention and control of corruption, wastefullness and negative phenomena work of the province still ensures the plan and tasks set out.

However, according to Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia, the internal affairs and prevention and control of corruption, wastefullness and negative phenomena work of the province still has some shortcomings and limitations as follows: The situation of law violations and economic crimes is still complicated, especially crimes in cyberspace; some petitions and hot spots that have existed for a long time have not been completely resolved; the coordination between the prosecution agency and the Party committees and units on asset valuation in judicial activities is still difficult and entangled; the value of recovered money and assets of the State and the People in violation cases is still low; the situation of violations of construction order and land at the grassroots level shows the signs of increasing...

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia predicted and assessed that in the coming time, there will be many factors that can affect internal affairs, prevention and control of corruption, wastefullness and negative phenomena work, and the compliance with legal regulations, such as: Organizational arrangement of the apparatus is closely linked to personnel arrangement; organization of Party Congresses at all levels, especially personnel plans. At the same time, the task of socio-economic development with a growth target of over 10%, the implementation of large-scale projects will be related to land acquisition and site clearance, so there will be problems of petitions and rights in performing compensation and resettlement policies. Meanwhile, the world situation is changing rapidly and unpredictably. In the immediate future, the new US tariff policy will affect the export market, make production activities of enterprises difficult, and may cause many workers to lose their jobs, significantly affecting social order...

Therefore, in the second quarter and the coming time, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested that internal affairs agencies in particular, agencies, units, Party committees, and local authorities in general need to have specific implementation solutions to ensure political security, social order, and discipline; ensure the successful and safe organization of Party Congresses at all levels; ensure the timely, planned, and effective implementation of the policy on rearranging administrative units at all levels. The goal is to maintain political stability, create favorable conditions for implementing the policies of the Central and the province; maintain the people's trust in the Party and the government.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia also noted that the Provincial People's Committee needs to focus on directing the review and handling of projects that are slow to implement and have the risk of causing waste; soon have a plan to manage and use the headquarters assets of redundant agencies and units to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
