On the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026), on the afternoon of May 19, the Party committee of Pho Hien ward organized a ceremony to present the Party Membership Badges to elderly Party members in the ward's Party committee. The ceremony drew the attendance of Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. It saw the participation of Comrades: Nguyen Van Thong, former Member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; Cao Van Cuong, former Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; and members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board: Pham Van Khue, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission; and Hoang Thai Phuc, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission.

On May 19th, the Pho Hien ward’s Party committee awarded the Party Membership Badges to 119 Party members ranging from 30 to 70 years of Party membership. Among them, one Party member received the 70-year Party Membership Badge; 14 Party members received the 60-year Party Membership Badge; 12 Party members received the 55-year Party Membership Badge; and the remaining Party members received 50, 45, 40, and 30-year Party Membership Badges. Notably, two former Secretaries of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong and Comrade Cao Van Cuong, were awarded the 50-year Party Membership Badge this time.

Presenting the Party Membership Badges and flowers to the Party members, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: The Party Membership Badge is a noble reward from the Party to Party members who have made many contributions and dedications to the Party. The receiving of the Party Membership Badge by Party members is not only an honor for the individual and their family but also a shared joy and pride for the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and the Pho Hien Ward Party Committee. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the development and prosperity of Hung Yen province today owes a great deal to the contributions of the veteran Party members who were awarded the Party Membership Badge this time, especially the two former Provincial Party Secretaries. He expressed his hope that the Party members receiving the Party Membership Badge would continue to uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit of a Party member, and continue to contribute their wisdom and experience to building a cleaner and stronger Pho Hien Ward Party Committee.

Giving a brief update on the province's socio-economic development, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, emphasized: After the merger, Hung Yen province continues to maintain positive growth momentum, with many economic indicators achieving good results. The province has been focusing on building transportation infrastructure, connecting regions to effectively exploit its potential and advantages; preserving and promoting the historical, cultural, revolutionary, and human values of Hung Yen province, which will become a new driving force for the province's development; continuing to focus on building a team of cadres with strong political acumen and modern management and innovation capabilities to meet the requirements and tasks of the new era. Facing new demands and tasks, he hopes that long-serving Party members, especially former provincial leaders, will continue to uphold their qualities, contribute their efforts, intellect, and experience to the Party Committee and the people of the province to successfully achieve the set goals and tasks, and strive to shorten the time to make Hung Yen province a centrally-run city.
Regarding Pho Hien ward, the central ward of the province, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the ward's Party committee continue to strictly maintain the principles of Party activities; promote democracy, maintain unity and solidarity, and contribute to building a clean and strong Party organization. Emphasis is placed on improving urban quality in a comprehensive and modern manner, meeting the development requirements of the new era.
