Thang Long II Industrial Park is one of the largest and the most modern industrial parks in Hung Yen province, with the most systematic investment, invested by Sumitomo Group (Japan). Thang Long II Industrial Park covers an area of ​​over 520 hectares with nearly 100 factories registered for operation, creating jobs for 28,000 workers. The industrial park is currently expanding in phase 3 with an area of ​​nearly 200 hectares.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that Hung Yen province always welcomes foreign businesses, including Sumitomo Group, to cooperate and invest in the province. He expressed joy and commended the development of the industrial park in the past period. Thang Long II Industrial Park currently has a large number of investors, a high scale of investment capital, creating many jobs for workers, and making an important contribution to the economic growth and budget revenue of the province. He highly appreciated the proactive spirit of businesses in Thang Long II Industrial Park in overcoming labor difficulties in the face of the complex developments of the world market. The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that Hung Yen province is always ready to listen, receive information, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles so that the investment, production, and business activities of enterprises become increasingly effective. Regarding human resources, he said that the province has clearly identified the difficulties in attracting labor and is focusing on implementing the solutions to support businesses, aiming to improve the competitiveness of the locality. The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his wish for Sumitomo Group to research and introduce Japanese universities and investors to explore cooperation and investment opportunities in Hung Yen. Hung Yen province will cooperate with Sumitomo Group to actively participate in investment promotion activities in Japan, contributing to strengthening the good strategic cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan, especially in the event commemorating the 20th founding anniversary of Thang Long II Industrial Park in 2026.
