Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, works with Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company
On the morning of December 18, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, held a working session with Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (Thaco Group) at the Provincial Party Committee’s Headquarters. The meeting saw the presence of Comrade Le Quang Hoa, Member of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives from several provincial departments and agencies.
At the working session
During the meeting, the Department of Finance reported on the implementation of several projects in the province invested by Thaco Group; and the Group's investment plan in the province in the coming period. Accordingly, Thaco Group is currently conducting three investment projects in the province, including: a commercial and service complex project in Pho Hien ward, with a total investment of over 900 billion VND; the Thaco - Thai Binh Industrial Park infrastructure construction and trading project in Phu Duc, A Sao, and Dong Bang communes has a total investment of over 2,100 billion VND; the Quynh Phu Inland Waterway Port project has a total investment of over 400 billion VND. In the near future, Thaco Group plans to implement a rice and industrial park project with a total investment of 4,800 billion VND. Specifically, the Group is going to implement two component projects in the province: a large-scale model rice cultivation project covering approximately 34,000 hectares; and an industrial park and processing plant project with a land area of nearly 200 hectares.
During the meeting, delegates discussed solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of Thaco Group's projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia affirmed that the province will create favorable conditions for Thaco Group to implement projects in the province. He also requested the Group to promptly survey the location and propose it for the province's consideration; and to coordinate with provincial departments and agencies to agree on the contents and develop specific implementation plans and projects.
Regarding projects currently being implemented by Thaco Group, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Group to urgently complete the procedures for projects that have received investment policy approval. He requested that provincial departments, agencies, and localities coordinate with Thaco Group to urgently complete investment procedures; and focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles in the projects that Thaco Group is implementing. This includes strengthening propaganda and mobilizing public support for the projects; urgently completing dossiers and procedures, accelerating land clearance, and promptly handing over cleared land at the project locations where Thaco Group is the investor.
