The province deeply appreciates Bulgaria's support for Thai Binh General Hospital (formerly the Vietnam-Bulgaria Friendship Hospital) and Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Currently, Thai Binh General Hospital has developed into a modern, specialized facility with a capacity of 1,500 beds, comprising 46 departments, divisions, and centers, and a workforce of nearly 1,300 staff members. Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy stands as a prestigious institution in Vietnam for education, scientific research, and the training of medical human resources.
