At the meeting, on behalf of the Provincial Standing Committee, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Permannent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council reported the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development task and the building of the Party and political system of the province in 2022. In 2022, the province has achieved quite comprehensive results and exceeded most of the socio-economic targets. GRDP growth rate has reached 13.41%, the highest in the past 15 years; State budget revenue attained over VND 51,400 billion, reaching 263% of the estimate. The economic structure continues to shift in the direction of increasing the proportion of industry, construction and services. The investment in building infrastructure of industrial zones and clusters and attracting investment and developing enterprises is interested. The material and spiritual life of the people continues to be improved and raised. Local defense and military work has been strengthened; political security, social order and safety in the whole province are ensured. The work of building the Party and the political system continues to be focused, thereby creating a consensus on awareness and action throughout the Party Committee and the entire people, contributing to socio-economic development.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized: The province's comprehensive and breakthrough results in 2022 have been attributed to the great contribution and dedication of province’s key cadres who have retired over the years. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also informed the retired members of the Provincial Party Committee and retired key cadres of the province about the key tasks of the province in the coming time and wished to receive support, positive comments of generations of leaders with extensive experience in the previous working process.

On the occasion of the 2023 Quy Mao Lunar New Year, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the comrades in the Provincial Standing Committee wish the retired members of the Provincial Party Committee members and retired key cadres of the province to always be healthy, continue to contribute intellect to help the province successfully implement the set goals and tasks, contributing to the building of Hung Yen province becoming richer and stronger.
