In 2022, the whole province has planted 17,600 trees, reaching 160% of the plan, mainly on the roads in new residential areas, clusters, industrial zones, clusters, inter-village and inter-communal roads... in the province. Along with the plantation of People's trees, the area of fruit trees on the converted land is maintained stably. The work of renovating and replacing old and inefficient fruit trees with the ones of high economic value is focused. The province has formed many concentrated and specialized fruit tree areas.

In 2023, the whole province will promote the movement of planting People's trees, strive to plant 33,800 People's trees. At the same time, encouraging localities to encourage people to plant fruit trees according to planning, promoting economic efficiency.

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the tree plantation festival in gratitude to Uncle Ho - Quy Mao 2023 Spring, Permanent member of the Secretariat Vo Van Thuong requested: Party committees, authorities, socio-political organizations and Hung Yen people continue to promote propaganda and education so that people are fully aware of the great meaning and practical benefits of tree planting; develop specific and practical plans for the care and protection of planted trees, which must be well cared for and developed. Speaking at the launching ceremony of the tree-planting festival in gratitude to Uncle Ho - Quy Mao 2023 Spring, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested Party committees, authorities at all levels, organizations, agencies, units and localities and officials, Party members and people in the province to actively respond to the movement "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho"; assign specific tasks and responsibilities for planting, caring for and protecting trees in 2023 to agencies, units, mass organizations and localities; take measures to develop and protect trees in residential areas, parks, sidewalks, streets and perennial crops in agriculture; promptly detect, praise and reward collectives and individuals that have attained outstanding achievements in the green tree planting movement. In 2023, the province will well implement the motto of planting trees according to the planning, form green areas, tree lines and tree roads to create the highlight in both urban and rural areas, at the same time associating with the construction of newly advanced rural areas, newly model rural areas; build green, clean, beautiful living space and effectively use land resources, improve the ecological environment.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia reported the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government and people in the province in 2022.
