The guidance on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers outside the province after Tet holiday

On 17/02/2021, the Provincial Steering Committee for the Covid-19 Prevention and Control issued the Official Letter No. 255 / CV-BCĐ guiding on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers outside the province after Tet holiday.

Accordingly, in order to be proactive in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic for cadres, civil servants, public employees, experts and workers from other provinces (hereinafter referred to as “at-risk workers”), the Department of Health - the standing agency of the Provincial Steering Committee requires agencies, units, organizations, unions, governments, enterprises, production and businesses establishments, construction works, services provision activities ... (hereinafter referred to as "agencies, enterprises") in the province to strictly comply with the following contents:

- To only allow "at-risk workers" to come to work when they have negative results for SARS-CoV-2 testing at the laboratories confirmed by the Notice of the Ministry of Health.

- When the "at-risk workers" do not have a negative testing result:

+ If they have not returned to Hung Yen province, agencies and enterprises proactively perform testing for "at-risk workers" at confirmed laboratories according to the Notice of the Ministry of Health, they only come back to work when the testing result is negative.

+ If they have already returned to Hung Yen province, they need to report to the authorities and the commune-level health center, and isolate themselves at home until the testing results are available.

- To make a list of "at-risk workers" who need testing in Hung Yen and register with the health centers of district, town or city in the area.

- The heads of "agencies and enterprises" are responsible before the law for the reception of "at-risk workers" and the implementation of measures to prevent and fight against the epidemic.

Regarding the cost of testing for "at-risk workers", "agencies and enterprises" are responsible for paying all costs related to sampling and testing in accordance with the provisions of the Resolution No. 37 / NQ-CP dated 29/03/2020 of the Government on specific regime in the Covid-19 prevention and control and the Official Letter No. 5834 / BYT-KHTC dated October 27, 2020 providing temporary guidance on payment of expenses for performing the Covid-19 test.
