To strengthen the direction and control of the assessment of the risk of Covid-19 infection in production and business establishments.

On 30/01/2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued the Official Letter No. 568 / BCT-KH on strengthening the direction and control of the assessment of the risk of Covid-19 infection in production and business establishments.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to focus on drastically directing the prevention and fighting against the epidemic at production and business establishments in the area, as specifically:

- To request the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct functional sectors and affiliated units (Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Health, the Management Board of economic zones, industrial zones, industrial clusters ...) to strictly grasp the Prime Minister's Directives (especially the Directive No. 05 / CT-TTg dated January 28, 2021 on some urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic), the direction of The National Steering Committee for the Covid -19 Prevention and Control, the directions and instructions of the Ministry of Health on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention to all economic zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters, factories, trade centers, supermarkets, markets, hotels, restaurants and other production and business establishments in the area. In particular, emphasizing the roles and responsibilities of all levels of management of economic zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters, businesses, and production and business establishments in carrying out the epidemic prevention and control at units.

- To strengthen directing, urging and guiding economic zones, industrial zones, industrial clusters, factories, trade centers, supermarkets, markets, hotels, restaurants and other production and business facilities in the area to immediately assess the risk of Covid-19 infection at the establishments according to the instructions of the National Steering Committee on the prevention, control and assessment of the risk of Covid-19 infection, of which: (i) Guidance on prevention, control and assessment of the risk of Covid-19 infection at the workplace and dormitory for employees, issued together with the Decision No. 2194 / QD-BCĐQG dated May 27, 2020; (ii) guidance on prevention, control and assessment of the risk of Covid-19 infection at commercial centers, supermarkets, markets and restaurants, issued together with the Decision No. 2225 / QD-BCĐQG dated May 28, 2020 .

- To direct economic zones, industrial parks, industrial clusters, factories, trade centers, supermarkets, markets, hotels, restaurants and production and business establishments in the area to commit to in writing and take responsibility before law to seriously implement the prevention and control of the epidemic at the grassroots level, strictly perform the self-assessment of the Covid-19 infection risk, proactively carry out immediately measures (if necessary), report to the Steering Committee for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control at localities.

- To request the People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct functional sectors to strengthen inspection and supervision and take strict measures in accordance with the law for production and business establishments that do not guarantee the prevention and control of the epidemic.

- To accelerate the implementation of the Map of Safe Coexistence with the Covid-19 for production and business establishments in the area under the guidance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
