The provincial leaders encourage the closing of the state budget revenues and expenditures in 2020

In order to encourage agencies and units to well perform the closing of the budget at the end of the year 2020, on December 31, 2020, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to encourage the closing of the state budget revenues and expenditures in 2020 at the Department of Finance.

According to the report of the leaders of the Department of Finance, as of 10 am on December 31, 2020, the total state budget revenue in the province increases by 11.3% as compared to the assigned estimate, of which domestic revenue increases by 24.7% of the assigned estimate. Subtracting the collection of land use fees and lottery, domestic revenue increases by 5.6% of the estimate. The revenue from import and export activities has reached 78.4% of the estimate. The budget expenditure tasks have basically reached the estimate, contributing to the completion of the socio-economic development targets of the province.

At the conference, leaders of the province presented flowers and congratulated the following units: Department of Finance, Provincial Department of Taxation, Provincial State Treasury, State Bank Branch of the province, Hung Yen Customs Branch for their efforts to well perform the state budget revenue and expenditure estimates in 2020.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised units in the province's Financial sector for their efforts and determination to complete the State budget revenue estimates and the State budget expenditure tasks in 2020. He emphasized that, in 2020, the Covid-19 epidemic has directly impacted on the production and business situation of enterprises and individuals doing business in the locality and the State budget collection. With the leadership and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the efforts and creativity of units in the Financial sector, the State budget revenue has exceeded the assigned estimate, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development. To bring into play the achievements, by 2021, units should do well the role of advising the Party committees and authorities at all levels to administer and well carry out the tasks of State budget revenue and expenditure. To strengthen the review and firmly grasp the revenue sources, correctly and fully collect into the state budget. At the same time, difficulties and problems are promptly removed, creating favorable conditions for taxpayers to develop production and business in accordance with the law and fulfilling obligations to the state budget. To strictly manage budget expenditures, ensure budget balance at all levels and spend according to the estimates correctly, economically and efficiently.
