The information on the planning of waste collection, recycling and treatment

On 01/2/2013, the Hung Yen provincial People's Committee issued the Decision No. 300 / QD-UBND approving the master plan for solid waste management in Hung Yen province to 2025, according to which:

+ The total volume of domestic solid waste arising in the province is about 512.33 tons / day.

+ The total volume of arising agricultural solid waste is about 4,218 tons / day; the trade village: about 320 tons / day; packages from fertilizer, pesticides: about 1.1 tons / day.

+ The total volume of arising industrial solid waste is about 616 tons / day, of which the hazardous waste is about 77 tons / day and the unhazardous waste is about 539 tons / day.

+ The total volume of construction solid waste arising in the whole province is about 73 tons / day; generated sludge is estimated to reach at 45.2 tons / day.

+ The total amount of medical arising solid waste is about 2,972 tons / day; of which the hazardous waste is 0.446 tons / day, accounting for 15% of the total amount and the unhazardous waste is 2,526 tons / day; the amount of medical solid waste arising in Hung Yen City is quite large, accounting for about 40% of the total amount in the whole province.

* Forecast of the amount of arising solid waste up to 2025:

Total volume of arising solid waste in the whole province is about 10,310 tons / day,

* The areas of polluted and degraded environment:

- Minh Khai plastic recycling village, Nhu Quynh town, Van Lam district.

- The lead recycling village of Dong Mai village, Chi Dao commune, Van Lam district.

- The landfill of Di Su commune, My Hao district.
