Provincial leaders work with a delegation of Taiwanese electronics enterprises (China)

At the meeting, the delegates listened to an overview of the socio-economic development situation, the strengths in investment attraction of the province over the past time.

The representative of the Taiwanese electronics business delegation thanked the province for creating favorable conditions to learn about the investment environment in the province. At the same time, he briefly introduced the operation situation of Taiwanese electronic enterprises in recent years. Currently, Taiwanese electronic enterprises are going to expand investment in Vietnam, including Hung Yen. Through the survey, Taiwanese businesses found that Hung Yen has a lot of potentials to expand investment. Therefore, the delegation wished to be able to understand the province's preferential policies in investment attraction.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van briefly introduced the operation situation of industrial parks in the province. At present, the province is continuing to invest in developing a synchronous transport system, electricity and water infrastructure to meet the operational needs of industrial parks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized. In addition, the province focuses on developing a system of housing and services, ensuring the living and living needs of engineers and workers working in industrial parks. In recent years, vocational training institutions in the province have gradually improved the quality of high-skilled labor training to meet the labor needs of enterprises. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wishes that Taiwanese electronic enterprises will soon invest in the province. The province always creates favorable conditions in the process of businesses investing and operating in the area.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Tan Cong, Chairman of VCCI said that Vietnam and Taiwan (China) have many similarities in culture and society, therefore, investment cooperation will have many advantages. The fact that Taiwanese electronic enterprises come to learn about the investment environment in Hung Yen will be a good premise in promoting cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan (China) in the near future. Hung Yen is currently considered as a province with a good investment environment, with outstanding development in recent times, so a lot of businesses from other countries have studied and planned to invest in the area. Chairman of VCCI hopes that, after the meeting, Taiwanese electronics enterprises will choose Hung Yen as an investment location in the near future.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia introduced a number of strengths in investment attraction and the province's development plan in the coming time. Hung Yen province maintains its development orientation on all three pillars: economy, society and environment. Therefore, the province's view is to receive investment selectively, focusing on key industries, including the electronics industry. In the coming time, Hung Yen will be the destination of many big investors. Hung Yen can basically meet the criteria set forth by Taiwanese electronic businesses, ready to receive Taiwanese electronic businesses to invest in the area in the near future. Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee believes that the cooperation between Hung Yen and Taiwan (China) will be consolidated in the coming time.
At the meeting, the provincial leaders answered a number of issues that the members of the Taiwanese e-business delegation wanted to learn such as: Land rental period, land rent, provincial policies in the investment process... At the same time, departments, branches and industrial park infrastructure investors are directed to coordinate with Taiwanese electronic enterprises in the process of understanding the investment environment in the province.
