Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van and delegates at the working session

At the working session, representatives of leaders of SGMW Group and TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company briefly introduced the operation situation of the businesses. Accordingly, SGMW Group and TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company are automobile manufacturers. In which, SGMW Group specializes in producing electric cars. In early 2023, TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement to produce electric cars in Vietnam with SGMW Group. TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company is going to to install the production line in the first 2 years on the basis of the company's existing factory in Van Lam district, then expand the production scale with a capacity of approx. 80,000 cars/year. Leaders of SGMW Group and TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company wish to learn about the province's preferential policies in investment attraction.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van congratulated the cooperation of the two businesses, thereby contributing to promoting the development of the domestic automobile manufacturing industry. The province always accompanies businesses in their investment and operation in the area. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed TMT Automobile Joint Stock Company to study the development of components manufacture for cars to reduce product costs.
