Delegates attend the Great National Solidarity Festival - Military and People’s Cultural Festival 2023 at Nguyen Xa residential area, Trung Hoa commune (Yen My)

In the exciting atmosphere of the festival, delegates and people of Nguyen Xa residential area reviewed the glorious traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam People's Army; the results of implementation of campaigns, patriotic emulation movements and local defense work in 2023.

In recent years, officials, Party members and people of Nguyen Xa residential area have well complied with the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies, laws and local regulations. The residential area’s people have well carried out movements and campaigns such as: "The whole country joins hands to build new-style rural areas", "Building cultural residential areas", "Building cultural families", "All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas"... To date, 98.1% of households in the residential area have achieved the title of cultural family. In the movement to build advanced new-style rural areas and model new-style rural areas, people donated over 200 square meters of land to expand rural roads. 100% of village and hamlet roads have been hardened and have drainage systems. The rate of needy households in Nguyen Xa residential area has continuously decreased over the years, now down to 1.1%, of which mainly poor households are on social protection. The cultural - artistic, physical training - sports movements are organized regularly, attracting a large number of people to participate in. The movement to build a learning society is widely launched. The environmental landscape of the residential area is preserved...

Speaking at the festival, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia expressed his joy about the results the residential area has achieved in local movements and activities. In order for the residential area to increasingly develop and people's lives to constantly improve, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that in the coming time, officials, Party members and people of the residential area to continue to firmly consolidate the great national unity bloc, unite the army and people to successfully conduct the goals set by resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels. The Front committee and residential area's unions and associations better promote their roles and responsibilities to be close to the people, understand the people and regularly listen to the people's thoughts and aspirations; promptly advise the Party committee and local authorities to answer and resolve people's questions and concerns right from the grassroots level. To carry out propaganda and effectively implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, Party Congress’s resolutions, Vietnam Fatherland Front Congresses at all levels, and regulations of the locality. To actively mobilize people to emulate learning, work creatively, and successfully implement socio-economic development goals. The Front committee and residential area's socio-political organizations firmly grasp the circumstances of the beneficiaries, disadvantaged families, and policy families to provide timely help, leaving no one behind. To better implement democratic regulations at the grassroots, promote the role of social supervision and criticism of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; well perform the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people enjoy". To well organize patriotic emulation movements, promptly mobilize, encourage and praise outstanding groups and individuals to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere in the community...

At the festival, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia presented gifts to Nguyen Xa residential area and typical policy households and needy households of Trung Hoa commune. Nguyen Xa residential area was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for its outstanding achievements in implementing patriotic campaigns and emulation movements in 2023; many typical families of residential area and Trung Hoa commune have been praised and rewarded by all levels and branches...
