On this important occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van attended a symposium to introduce the potential and policies to attract investment and cooperate in agriculture of Hung Yen province with US partners. In the attendance were representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kinh Bac Company and representatives of Dragonberry Prodyce Company - an enterprise specializing in importing and exporting Vietnamese and US fresh fruits.

At the conference, Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van briefly introduced the province's potential and advantages in the field of agriculture to US partners. Hung Yen is located in an area with favorable weather conditions for agricultural production, suitable for many types of crops with high productivity and quality, especially specialty crops with high value, creating a large volume of agricultural products, high-quality goods to serve the Hanoi capital market, provinces and cities nationwide and export needs. Agricultural products such as longan, King Kong banana, orange, grapefruit, guava, turmeric, lychee... have become specialties of Hung Yen.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van hopes that in the coming time, Hung Yen province will cooperate with US partners in consuming and exporting the province's key products, as well as in organizing programs, trade promotion event; introducing, propagating and promoting key agricultural products with partners from the United States. At the same time, support the province in building and implementing projects to improve agricultural production and processing capacity; send delegations of agricultural officials to visit, study and exchange experiences on cooperative development, farms, high-tech agricultural development, and digital transformation in the field of agriculture and rural areas.

Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van affirmed that in recent years, Hung Yen province has issued policies to encourage and support businesses and individuals to invest in agriculture and rural areas in the province. The highlight is the policy of exemption and reduction of land use fees; exemption and reduction of land rent and water surface rent; supporting businesses in land consolidation; credit access and support; assisting grassroots investment in preserving and processing agricultural products; slaughtering cattle and poultry...

At the conference, Kinh Bac Company pledged to support the province in investing in irradiation machines; Ministries and central branches assist legal procedures. In the near future, companies and partners will come to learn, order and support Hung Yen on the standards for exporting agricultural products to the US market.
