Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Quoc Toan speaks at the opening of the meeting

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Quoc Toan emphasized: With the determination to constantly improve the quality and operational efficiency of the People's Council; in order to ensure state management and promptly make solutions to promote the implementation of socio-economic development tasks of the province, at this meeting, the Provincial People's Council will consider, evaluate and decide on a number of important contents within its authority. With the responsibility to the voters and people of the province, the Provincial People's Council's delegates and delegates attending the meeting are requested to uphold the sense of responsibility, focus on carefully studying reports and submissions, draft resolution; discuss democratically, frankly, analyze and clarify the necessity, effectiveness, and compatibility with reality, contribute many opinions to continue to improve and resolve the contents at the end of the meeting.

Delegates attend the meeting

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee submitted reports and presentations to the Provincial People's Council on the contents related to the economy, finance and public investment, specifically as follows: Adjusting the public investment plan 2023 of Hung Yen province; regulating expenditure levels for a number of expenditures on organizing compensation, support, resettlement and enforcement of counting and enforcement of land recovery in Hung Yen province; regulating on environmental protection fees for mineral exploitation in Hung Yen province; amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on decentralization of revenue sources, expenditure tasks and percentage (%) of revenue division between budget levels of Hung Yen province for the period 2023-2025 promulgated together with the Resolution No. 302/2022/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council; assessing the impacts of implementing component project 3: Investment in highway construction according to the public-private partnership method under the Ring Road No. 4 Construction Investment Project - Hanoi Capital Region; approving investment policies of a number of public investment projects and works.

Next, representatives of the Legal Affairs Board and the Economic and Budgetary Affairs Board of the Provincial People's Council presented the Verification report on the reports and submissions presented by the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting.

The meeting conducted a vote to approve the Resolutions presented at the meeting. 100% of the Provincial People's Council’s delegates attending the meeting were in high agreement and voted to pass 11 Resolutions.

Speaking at the end of the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Quoc Toan requested that immediately after the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee urgently organize the implementation of the resolutions passed at the meeting to ensure the correct order, procedures according to current legal regulations; regularly monitor, urge and inspect the implementation so that projects are completed on schedule and ensure quality. Delegates of the Provincial People's Council, in appropriate forms, inform voters of the results of the meeting and the resolutions that have been passed; regularly maintain close contact, listen and reflect on the opinions and recommendations of voters; organize supervision of the implementation of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council; mobilize and propagate the People to implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's law and policies and the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council, actively participate in site clearance work and supervise the implementation of works and projects.
