Delegates attend the Great National Solidarity Festival - Military and People’s Cultural Festival in Luong Xa residential area

At the Festival, delegates and people of the residential area reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam People's Army; evaluated the results of implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas" and local military and defense tasks in 2023.

In recent years, officials, Party members, and people of Luong Xa residential area have united to well implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and actively participated in patriotic emulation movements. To conduct the campaign "All people unite to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas", people in the residential area have donated more than 6,000 m2 of land, supported billions of dong to expand rural roads, and build welfare works. The movement to build cultural villages, cultural families, and "Exemplary grandparents and parents, loyal children, and kind grandchildren" has been well implemented. In 2023, there are 98.5% of households achieving the title of cultural family. Cultural, artistic, physical training and sports movements are organized regularly, attracting a large number of people to participate in. The number of needy households in the residential area decreased to 1%. The residential area has performed well its local military and defense tasks, maintaining political security and social order and safety.

Speaking at the Festival, Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security acknowledged and congratulated the achievements and results of Luong Xa residential area over the past time. He requested the officials and people of residential area to continue promoting good traditions and the strength of great national unity, successfully completing the political, economic, cultural and social tasks of the locality; promoting patriotic emulation movements, encouraging and replicating advanced examples, examples of good people and good deeds; paying attention to, caring for, and helping needy households and people in difficult circumstances.
