At the meeting to contact voters, the representative of the Provincial People's Council informed voters about the expected content and program of the regular meeting at the end of 2023, the 17^th Provincial People's Council; the results of implementing the province's socio-economic development tasks in 2023, the socio-economic development tasks and solutions in 2024; the results of receiving and resolving voters' opinions and recommendations in the previous voter contacting meeting.

At the meeting, voters of Van Lam district expressed high agreement and excitement of the achievements of the province in 2023. At the same time, they reflected and proposed such a number of issues as: Transportation system; environmental sanitation; supporting the construction of cultural houses and sports areas in villages; investing and allocating resources to build school and classroom facilities; the solutions to overcome the shortage of teachers at all levels... Voters of Tan Quang commune asked the province to pay attention to improving the Dinh Du river and Bac Hung Hai river... Voters of Lac Hong commune asked the competent authorities to pay more attention to compensation and site clearance support for households in Minh Hai village (Lac Hong commune) to relocate to the new resettlement area to implement the Ring Road No. 4 Construction Investment Project - Hanoi Capital Region. Voters of Nhu Quynh town asked the province to consider and provide funding to restore and repair a number of degraded national historical and cultural relics in the town. Voters of Viet Hung commune asked the province to pay attention to supporting people in developing large-scale commodity agricultural production... Voters of Dinh Du commune requested to supplement the planning and land use plan to build the office of the local police…

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council’s delegates, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the outstanding results in economic and social development, budget collection, administrative reform, and ensuring social security of the province, at the same time explained and clarified a number of issues of concern to voters. Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van requested the Party committee and local authorities to receive and take measures to promptly resolve voters' opinions and recommendations. Localities are interested in allocating resources to build and improve important traffic routes to create motivation for local socio-economic development.
