Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duy Hung visited the cow raising model of Mr. Dao Quang Hoa; the model of cage fish raising on Red River by Mr. Le Van Duyen and the model of raising cows, pigs and growing bananas by Mr. Vu Van Tien, Phu Cuong commune (Hung Yen city). After listening to the farmers reporting experiences and efficiencies from cultivation and animal husbandry, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the selection of plants and animals of the households is in accordance with the reality of the locality, actively contributing to the restructuring of agricultural economy, raising the value of income per unit of cultivated land; at the same time, it is required that households pay attention to the treatment of livestock wastes and strengthen the linkage in the production, consumption and processing of agricultural products. He requested functional branches and local authority to pay attention to supporting farmers with seeds, capital, science and technology to create good conditions for farmers to expand production and improve quality of products; focus on leading, directing and performing the planning of production areas far from residential areas in order to create favorable conditions for farmers to develop large-scale production and minimize environmental pollution in rural areas.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited the model of cultivating, producing and processing cordyceps, mushrooms, medicinal mushrooms of Mr. Nguyen Van Tu in Phu Thinh commune (Kim Dong). The model has a scale of nearly 6 thousand m2, with the investment cost of 5 billion VND, the yearly revenue at 3 - 4 billion VND. Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee recognized and highly appreciated his efforts, will and aspirations to get rich because cultivating cordyceps is a difficult and new field. Not only striving to improve product’s quality, Mr. Tu focuses on branding and product packaging in order to create attraction and affirm the sustainable efficiency of the model. He requested local authority to study policies and mechanisms to continue to accompany and support farmers to develop production, business, and replicate clean agricultural production models, hi-tech agriculture; at the same time, suggested some solutions to improve the quality and value of products in the model of cultivating, producing and processing cordyceps, mushrooms, and medicinal mushrooms by Mr. Nguyen Van Tu, contributing to the integration in new stage.
