On 02/02/2021, the Provincial People's Committee issued the Official Letter No. 248 / UBND-KGVX on the implementation of additional measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, in order to drastically perform effectively the epidemic prevention and control, prevent the epidemic from spreading in the province, best protect the health and life of the people, the Provincial People's Committee requests heads of departments, agencies, branches and unions of the province; the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and communes; heads of epidemic prevention and control teams at localities, organizations, units and the whole people to continue to thoroughly grasp, strictly follow the Telegram No. 199 / CD-UBND dated 28/01/2021, the Official Letter No. 212 / UBND-KGVX dated 30/01/2021 and other relevant documents of the Provincial People's Committee, at the same time strictly carrying out some of the additional measures from 0.00 a.m on 03/02/2021 as follows:

- People strictly follow the 5K slogan as recommended by the Ministry of Health (Masks - Disinfection - Distance - Concentration - Medical declaration); to limit going out of the house when not necessary, in case of leaving the house, they must regularly wear a mask and take measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to regulations.

- Restaurants, cafes are only available for take-away customers, not on-site service. Restaurants, night bars, tea shops on the sidewalk, beauty salons, gyms, hairdressing salons, massage services stop their operation;

- Agencies, units, businesses, villages, hamlets, civil groups, residential areas do not organize conferences, parties, year-end parties; people are required to suspend weddings, celebrations; narrow the organization of funerals and take measures to ensure the epidemic prevention and control according to regulations.

- The authorities shall strictly sanction the violations of regulations on wearing masks.

- The Department of Industry and Trade presides over and coordinates with the Department of Health, the Market Management Department and related units to strengthen inspection and examination of the quality of masks of the mask manufacturing and trading units in the area; strictly deal with violating units; publicly announce on the media the production and supply units of satisfactory and unsatisfactory masks.
