On November 13, Yen Do residential area, Tan Viet commune (Yen My) held the Great National Solidarity Day and the Military and People's Cultural Festival in 2021.

The festival drew the attendance of comrades: Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Standing Committee: Mr. Pham Van Khue, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mrs. Quach Thi Huong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Colonel Nguyen Chi Cong, Chief of the Provincial Military Command.

At the festival, the delegates and people of Yen Do residential area reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam People's Army; the military-people solidarity relationship in the cause of national liberation struggle, national construction and defense; evaluated the results of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements of the residential area in 2021.

Yen Do residential area has 14 families, 685 households with 2,497 people. Over the years, under the leadership of the Party, the great national unity block in Yen Do residential area has been consolidated and promoted, the economic life of the people has been increasingly developed. In 2021, the poverty rate in the residential area decreases to 1.6%; 96% of families in the residential area achieve the title of cultural family. People actively participate in building new countryside. Up to now, 100% of village roads are concreted and made of hard materials. Every year, Yen Do residential area fulfills the target of calling citizens to join the army. Militia and self-defense forces and reserve mobilization always perform well their role of coordination, grasping the security and order situation at the grassroots; advise timely on the settlement of difficulties and problems at the grassroots level, contributing to ensuring rural security.

Speaking at the festival, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee recognized and praised the achievements of Yen Do residential area in recent years. He noted the immediate task is that, the residential area continues to perform well the task of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic to protect people's health and safety. Party committees at all levels strengthen their leadership and direction of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in renovating the contents and modes of operation; exercise the People's rights to mastery; firmly build the position of the people's hearts. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels actively cooperates with functional sectors and member organizations to propagate and mobilize people to implement the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels and the Vietnam Fatherland Front congresses at all levels in association with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", the campaign "All people unite to build a new countryside and a civilized city", the emulation movement to build a "3 no" residential area and the model new rural residential area; continue to mobilize and promote the role of the People in building the Party and the government; well implement the democratic regulations at the grassroots level. The Front Work Department and mass organizations in residential area understand the situation of poor households and policy families to promptly help them with the motto "leaving no one behind".

On this occasion, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented 20 million VND from the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to Yen Do village’s Covid-19 prevention and control team; Yen Do residential area was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for outstanding achievements in conducting patriotic emulation campaigns and movements in 2021; rewarded the National Flag by the Provincial Military Command; five families were awarded the Certificates of achievement of the title of "Excellent grandparents, parents, loyal children, and grandchildren" at provincial level in 2021; 10 families with meritorious services to the revolution and 23 poor households in Tan Viet commune were given gifts by the province and Yen My district; 2 families with meritorious services to the revolution were supported with housing construction costs, worthy of 80 million VND/household.
