In Hung Yen province, there is a system of national highways and provincial roads, specifically:

* For the system of national highways and expressways.

- Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway: The starting point is at Cuu Cao commune, Van Giang district; the ending point is at Bai Say commune, An Thi district; with the length of 26.55km; the pavement structure is asphalt concrete with 6 lanes.

- National Highway No. 5: The starting point is at Nhu Quynh town, Van Lam district; the ending point is at Minh Duc commune, My Hao town; with the length of 22.56km; of grade II-road, asphalt concrete pavement structure.

- National Highway No. 38: Total length is 32.2km, of which the starting point is at Tranh culvert; the ending point is at Yen Lenh bridge (the section coincides with National Highway No. 39 from Truong Xa to Suoi slope); of grade-III road, asphalt concrete pavement structure. In which, 10.58km of new construction avoids residential areas of An Thi and Kim Dong districts under the Vietnam Road Asset Management Project (VRAMP Project).

- National Highway No. 38B: The starting point is at Trang Bridge; the ending point is in Hung Yen city; with the length of 18.2km; of grade-III road, asphalt concrete pavement structure.

- National Highway No. 39: The starting point is at Pho Noi; the ending point is Trieu Duong bridge; with the length of 45.0km; of grade-III road, asphalt concrete pavement structure.

- The road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong highway with Gie Bridge - Ninh Binh expressway: The starting point is at Ly Thuong Kiet commune, Yen My district; the ending point is at Hung Ha bridge; with the length of 27.0km; of grade-III road, asphalt concrete pavement structure.

Hung Yen has 15 provincial roads with a total length of 392.74km, forming a system of vertical and horizontal axes including: the provincial roads No.376, No.377, No.377B, No.378, No.379, No.379B , No.380, No.381, No.382, No.382b, No.383, No.384, No.385, No.386, No.387, specifically:

- The provincial road No.376 (Quan Chuot - Trieu Duong)

The provincial road No.376 is the province's longitudinal axis - almost throughout the province (in the North - South direction), the route runs roughly parallel to National Highway No. 39 to the East, starting from the Pho Noi A Industrial Park, (the intersection with National Highway No. 5) and intersecting National Highway No.39 at Km5, running through An Thi and intersecting National Highway No. 38 (in An Thi town), intersecting the provincial road No.377, National Highway No. 38B at Vuong town and ending at Trieu Duong (the intersection with National Highway No. 39); the route goes through Van Lam, Yen My, An Thi and Tien Lu districts; the total length is 51.45km, including: the section Km0+00 intersects with National Highway No. 5 to Km37+855 intersecting with National Highway No.39 Trieu Duong; the section bypassing An Thi town at Km17+050 to Km28+450 Hong Quang; the section bypassing Hai Trieu at Km35+500 to Km37+190 intersects with the provincial road No.378 at Hoi slope.

- The provincial road No. 377 (Van Giang – Thi market)

The provincial road No.377 is the longitudinal axis of the province, starting from Van Giang town (intersecting with the provincial road No.379B) and passing through Khoai Chau town, Khe bridge, Hang market, intersecting with National Highway No. 39 in Luong Bang town, going along with National Highway No.39 about 150m and ending at Thi market in Hong Quang commune (the intersection with the provincial road No.376). The route passes through the districts of Van Giang, Khoai Chau, Kim Dong, An Thi; the total length is 37.5km.

- The provincial road No.377B (Ba Hang – Vinh slope)

The provincial road No.377B is a branch of the provincial road No .377, starting at Ba Hang junction (intersecting with the provincial road No.377) and ending at Vinh slope (intersecting with the provincial road No. 378) with a length of 2.4 km; the route is located entirely in Khoai Chau district, mainly serving the transportation of constructional materials from Vinh slope wharf to communes in Khoai Chau district and the region.

- The provincial road No. 378 (Xuan Quan - Tam Da)

The provincial road No. 378 is a longitudinal axis of the province, the route runs along the left dike of the Red and Luoc rivers; starting from Xuan Quan culvert, Van Giang district, passing through Van Giang, Khoai Chau, Kim Dong, and Hung Yen city, Tien Lu, Phu Cu and ending at Tam Da commune, Phu Cu district, bordering Hai Duong, the whole route is 79.1km long.

- The provincial road No. 379 (Van Giang Town - Dan Tien)

The provincial road No. 379 (Hanoi - Hung Yen inter-provincial road) is a part of the province's longitudinal axis; starting from Xuan Quan (Ecopark urban area), and ending at Dan Tien (the intersection with the National Highway No. 39); the route goes through Van Giang, Yen My and Khoai Chau districts; the whole route is 17.4km long.

- The provincial road No. 379B (Cuu Cao - Xuan Quan)

The provincial road No. 379B is a section of the horizontal axis in the Northern area of ​​the province; starting from Cuu Cao commune, Van Giang district, intersecting with the district road No. 20 (adjacent to Kieu Ky commune, Gia Lam district), and ending at Xuan Quan commune, Van Giang district (adjacent to Van Duc commune, Gia Lam district); the route passes through Cuu Cao communes, Van Giang town, Xuan Quan commune, Van Giang district, the whole route is 6.23km long.

- The provincial road No. 380 (Gay Bridge – Treo Bridge)

The provincial road No. 380 is a part of the province's longitudinal axis, starting from Gay Bridge (bordering Bac Ninh province), the route runs in the North - South direction, cutting through National Highway No. 5 (at Pho Noi), to the intersection No. 5 of Treo Bridge (intersecting with National Highway No. 39) here, the route coincides with National Highway No. 39 to Km7+450, the route follows the old road to Km10+780 at Giong culvert (the intersection with National Highway No. 39 to go to Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway); the whole route is 17.33km long; it passes through the districts of Van Lam, My Hao, Yen My and Khoai Chau.

- The provincial road No. 381 (Giai Pham - Yen Hoa)

The provincial road No. 381 is a section of the province's longitudinal axis; starting from Giai Pham (the intersection with National Highway No. 5), going north - south, passing Tu Ho, crossing the provincial roads No. 382B, No. 382, ending at Yen Hoa (intersecting with the provincial road No. 379), with the length of 11, 0km; it passes through two districts of Yen My and Khoai Chau.

- The provincial road No. 382 (Tranh culvert - Me So)

The provincial road No. 382 is the horizontal axis of the province, starting from Tranh culvert (the intersection with National Highway No. 38), the route runs horizontally from East to West, crossing the provincial roads No. 387, No. 376, National Highway No. 39, No. 379, No. 377, No. 378 and ending at Me So ferry terminal; the whole route is 27.8km long. The route passes through 4 districts of An Thi, Yen My, Khoai Chau and Van Giang.

- The provincial road No. 382B (Cuu Cao, Van Giang - Bai Say, An Thi)

The provincial road No. 382B is the horizontal axis of the province going along the Hanoi-Hai Phong highway, starting from Cuu Cao commune, Van Giang district, bordering Gia Lam district, and ending at Bai Say commune, An Thi district, bordering Hai Duong province; the whole route is 53.88km long (including both sides of the highway). The route passes through 3 districts of Van Giang, Yen My and An Thi.

- The provincial road No. 383 (Minh Chau – Bai slope)

It starts from Minh Chau, Yen My district (intersecting with National Highway No. 39), the route goes in the East - North direction, crossing the provincial road No. 377 in Khoai Chau town and ending at Bai slope (intersecting with the provincial road No. 378), the route is 10.0km long. The route passes through two districts of Yen My and Khoai Chau.

- The provincial road No. 384 (Tan Phuc – Kenh slope)

The provincial road No. 384 is the horizontal axis of the province, starting from Tan Phuc (the intersection with National Highway No. 38), crossing the provincial road No. 376, National Highway No. 39, the provincial road No. 377 and ending at Kenh slope (intersecting with the provincial road No. 378), the route is 18.5km long. The route passes through two districts of An Thi and Khoai Chau.

- The provincial road No. 385 (Nhu Quynh - Luong Tai)

It starts from Nhu Quynh (the intersection with National Highway No. 5), and ends at Luong Tai, Van Lam district (adjacent to Hai Duong), the route lies entirely in Van Lam district, the whole route is 17.5km long.

- The provincial road No. 386 (Binh Tri - La Tien)

The provincial road No. 386 is a vertical axis to the east of the province - located in the inter-provincial route Hung Yen-Thai Binh-Nam Dinh, connecting with the ring road No. 5 of Hanoi capital; starting from Binh Tri (the intersection with the provincial road No. 376), the route goes in the North - South direction, and ends at La Tien ferry station (intersecting with the provincial road No. 378), the whole route is 24.95km long. The route passes through two districts of An Thi and Phu Cu.

- The provincial road No. 387 (Luong Tai - Do Ha).

It starts from Luong Tai, Van Lam district (the intersection with the provincial road No. 385), the route goes in the North - South direction, ending at Do Ha, An Thi district (bordering Hai Duong province), the whole route is 17.7km long. The route passes through Van Lam, My Hao and An Thi districts.

In addition to the 15 provincial roads mentioned above, the Department of Transport is managing 5km of the North-South economic backbone, which passes through My Hao town and Van Lam district.
