On May 17, the delegation of Hung Yen province led by Mr. Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly, came to offer incenses and flowers to the heroic martyrs in Son La province. In the attendance were Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Provincial Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of some departments, agencies, localities in the province. Joining the incense-offering delegation were the leaders of Son La province.

The delegation offered incenses and flowers at Son La Prison's Martyrs Cemetery, Son La Prison's Martyrs Memorial House and visited Son La Prison’s special national monument area. Offering incenses on the graves of martyrs, including martyr To Hieu, comrade Provincial Party Secretary Do Tien Sy and the delegation respectfully paid tribute to comrade To Hieu, the resilient communist, the elite son of Hung Yen's homeland and the martyrs died for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. At the same time, the delegation offered incenses at the Uncle Ho’s Temple in the Tay Bac Square to celebrate the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020).

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province donated VND 300 million to the Fund for Poor People in Son La Province.
