Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong welcomes and works with the Liaison Board of Hung Yen’s Fellow - Countrymen Association in Hanoi

On May 17, on the occasion of the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020), the Liaison Board of Hung Yen’s Fellow - Countrymen Association in Hanoi paid a working visit to the province. The delegation was received by and worked with Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In the attendance were comrades in the Provincial Standing Committee.

Delegates offer incenses at the Uncle Ho’s Memorial House

The delegation visited and offered incenses at Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan’s Temple - President Ho Chi Minh's mother in Hong Tien commune (Khoai Chau); offered incenses to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Uncle Ho’s Memorial House and offered flowers at the Monument to General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh (Hung Yen city).

At the working session, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, briefed a number of achievements on the socio-economic development and Party building work of the province in recent years; the goals and development orientations in the future.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee would like to thank the affection of Hung Yen's children who are far away from home but still have a heart towards their homeland, and wishes that in the coming time, the Liaison Board of Hung Yen’s Fellow - Countrymen Association in Hanoi would continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and make many practical contributions both materially and spiritually with the Party Committee and the people in the province to lead and successfully implement the assigned political tasks.
