TOTO Vietnam Co., Ltd poured about VND 1,000 billion to build the fourth plant in Hung Yen

On October 10, at the Headquarters of the provincial People's Council – the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee welcomed and worked with Mr. Suzuki Hiroyuki, General Director of TOTO Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thang Long Industrial Park II).

At the working session, Mr. Suzuki Hiroyuki reported to the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong about the company's operation. TOTO Vietnam Co., Ltd is a sanitary ware production plant, which has 100% of foreign-owned capital and a plant in Thang Long Industrial Park II. Its plant has been operated for nearly 2 years and created jobs for about 1,000 workers inside and outside the province. It has actively participated in the social and charitable work. Currently, in addition to ordinary workers, the company also accepts disabled ones, which aims to help them to integrate into the community. According to the plan, in early February 2020, the company will start building the fourth factory in Hung Yen with an investment capital of about 1 trillion VND, it is expected to create jobs for 1,500 employees. The fourth plant is supposed to be completed and put into operation in 2022.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong highly appreciated the results that the company has achieved in production and business activities as well as social and charitable ones. He affirmed that the project of the company has promoted the efficiency of investment, contributing to creating jobs for local laborers, and increasing revenues for the State budget. In addition, the company has paid attention to disabled workers and helped them to integrate into the society, which is a meaningful work. Regarding the quality and stability of human resources, the province has been implementing many measures to attract and stabilize high-quality human resources. Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, suggested that the company would proactively and actively coordinate to train the human resources, with the priority being given to on-the-job and "hand-to-hand" training for employees.
