HCL Group (India) did a survey to invest in Hung Yen

On November 11, at the Headquarters of the provincial People's Council – the People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee had a working session with HCL (Hindustan Computers Limited) Technologies (India).

HCL Technologies is an information technology company, which is based in Noida (India) with over 40 years of establishment and development. It is currently providing the information technology to 250 businesses on the list of the world's businesses with the biggest revenues. Its turnover in technology is about USD 8.6 billion (in 2018) with more than 131 thousand engineers working in 44 countries around the world. The Board of Directors of HCL Technologies Group has approved the long-term investment plan in Vietnam with the vision and objectives of training, recruitment and human resources development for a series of information technology centers including 10 - 20 thousand engineers across Vietnam.

At the working session, the representative of HCL Technologies Group wanted to explore a suitable location with an area of ​​about 5-10 ha in the province to invest in building a complex area including offices, life utilities, health care and serving workers for the scale of about 5,000-10,000 engineers working for the group in the near future.

At the working session, Chairman of provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong expressed his delight at HCL Technologies Group's investment plan in the province. He gave an overview of the socio-economic development, the potentials and strengths of the province in attracting investment... He introduced a number of favorable investment locations for the Group to choose. At the same time, departments and agencies are required to coordinate with the corporation in the investment survey process. The Chairman emphasized that the province would create favorable conditions for the HCL Technologies Group to invest in the area.
