NGUYEN KHAC TRACH (1797 - 1884)

Nguyen Khac Trach, also known as An Phu, Nhu Xuyen, is from Binh Ho village, Dong An district, Khoai Chau (now Quang Lang commune, An Thi district). He passed the bachelor degree in 1825. He held a number of mandarin positions in Vinh Phuc, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Hai Duong and Ha Tinh.

He is full of integrity and clean. By the age of 60, the court still kept him in office. Until the age of 67 in 1864, he retired. He died on June 22, 1884 at the age of 88. During his tenure as mandarins, he was keen to educate and encourage learning.

Obviously, he had a special interest in training talented people. It perfectly suited to meet the needs of his time. His esteem of talents was reflected in the cry of Nguyen Tri Phuong

In the literature of Nguyen Khac Trach, he left a dozen works and thousands of poems and hundreds of articles. These are the volumes: Nhue Xuyen bach but thi tap, Nhue Xuyen tap, Nhue Xuyen thi tap, Nhue Xuyen van tap, Nhue Xuyen thang but thi tap, Nhue Xuyen truong tap, Nhue Xuyen tuy but tap... All imprinted a spirit of loving the country, respecting people and praising the faithfulness and loyalty.
