Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia checks the construction progress of the project to build a horizontal trunk road connecting the National Highway No. 39 (Km22+550) with the provincial road No. 376

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee went to check the construction progress of the following projects: Renovating and upgrading the provincial road No .380; renovating and upgrading the provincial road No. 385; the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Gie bridge - Ninh Binh expressway phase 2; building the side road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway with Gie bridge - Ninh Binh expressway; upgrading and expanding the extended Hanoi – Hung Yen inter-provincial road; building a horizontal trunk road connecting the National Highway No. 39 (Km22+550) with the provincial road No. 376; building and upgrading the long left dyke of the Luoc river.

According to the reports of the units, the project of upgrading and expanding the extended Hanoi – Hung Yen inter-provincial road has been implemented since December 2021. Currently, the consortium of contractor has constructed on the entire area of ​​​​the handover site. In which, the road part is under construction to excavate the road mold, treat the soft soil, fill with K95 sand, cover K98 layer, build horizontal culvert and gravity dam. The bridge part is under construction of bored pile foundation. The value of the volume done so far is estimated to reach at 250/2.317 billion VND.

The project on the construction of the road connecting Hanoi - Hai Phong highway with Gie Bridge - Ninh Binh expressway phase 2 has been carried out with nearly 50% of the work volume. To speed up the construction progress, the construction unit is organizing 5 construction parts. According to the plan, the project is expected to be completed by the end of June 2023. However, the contractor is committed to completing the work in December 2022, shortening the construction time by 6 months as compared to the contract.

The project to build and upgrade the long left dyke of the Luoc river has a total investment of 114 billion VND from government bonds. Currently, the project is being accelerated construction, striving to be completed before October 2022.

The project to renovate and upgrade the provincial road No. 380 has a total length of over 4.2km, started construction since the end of 2020. Up to now, localities have handed over about 3.3/4.2km of ground to the construction unit; construction value is 33/66.6 billion VND, reaching 50% of the total capital. Currently, there is a section of about 900m2 in Van Lam district, which is facing difficulties in site clearance.

The project to renovate and upgrade the provincial road No. 385 has a length of over 8.8 km, started construction since November 2020. Up to now, the construction unit has carpeted the asphalt concrete surface for 3.3km. The value of construction volume is about 55/141 billion VND (accounting for 38.9% of the total volume). Currently, the project has 1.7 km that has not been cleared in Luong Tai and Chi Dao communes (Van Lam).

The project to upgrade and expand the extended Hanoi - Hung Yen inter-provincial road has a total investment of nearly 2.9 trillion VND. The project has been constructed since December 8, 2021. Currently, the consortium of contractor has implemented construction on the entire area of ​​​​the handover site. In which: The road part is under construction to excavate the road mold, treat the soft ground, fill with K95 sand, cover K98 layer, build some horizontal culverts, gravity dam. The bridge section is under construction of bored pile foundation... The value of the implemented volume so far is estimated to reach at VND 250/2.317 billion.

The project to build a horizontal trunk road connecting the National Highway No. 39 (Km22+550) with the provincial road No. 376 has a total length of 7.58km, with a total investment of 230 billion VND. The project started construction since November, 2021, up to now, the construction unit has completed the construction of the items of ground treatment, Dien Bien bridge; other items such as: soil excavation, sand embankment, horizontal culvert construction... reached over 45% of the volume. Currently, there are 0.65km remaining in Chinh Nghia and Nhan La communes (Kim Dong) and residential areas of Nhan Ly village, Nguyen Trai commune (An Thi) which are taking steps for site clearance.

Inspecting the projects, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia requested departments, branches and localities to closely coordinate with construction units to focus on removing difficulties and ensuring the progress of the projects. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to the site clearance work, especially the sites that have to be cleared on residential land. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested localities to propagate and mobilize people to understand the purposes, meanings and benefits of the projects, create a high consensus in handing over the premises, and creating favorable conditions for the construction unit; arrange resettlement locations for households in the area to be cleared. During the implementation process, it is necessary to strengthen the inspection, supervision and quality assurance of the works; focus on labor safety, traffic safety; develop a specific schedule and plan for each construction item. To strive to complete projects early to put them into operation, use, and serve the province's socio-economic development needs. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee proposed a specific time plan in the site clearance and construction of work items for localities and construction units to implement.
