It was constructed from December 8, 2021, up to now, the project has cleared the ground for 20.92/33.5km; The contractor consortium has conducted the construction on the entire scope of the assigned ground. In which, the road part has been implemented to excavate the road mold, treat the soft ground, fill K95 sand, fill K98 materials, construct the crushed stone foundation layer at grade I, horizontal culverts, concrete structures... over the entire scope of delivery; the construction of asphalt concrete carpet with the layer 1 C19 of 7cm thick is 4.1km, the bridge has basically completed the construction of Kenh Tay 1 bridge, Kenh Tay 2 bridge, Dong Que bridge construction reached 60% of the volume, Khoa Nhu bridge attained 15 %, the overpass on the National Highway No. 39 is 25%, about 40% of the overpass on the National Highway No. 5, 65% of the overpass for Hanoi - Hai Phong railway, 70% of Thanh Khe bridge, 70% of Luc Dien bridge…

Currently, the construction site is still entangled with 12.58/33.5km, especially the residential area of ​​some households in Yen My, Van Lam and My Hao townships has not been cleared.

During the field inspection at the project, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam requested the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board of the province to coordinate with construction contractors and localities in the project area to urgently speed up the construction progress. In particular, contractors need to mobilize maximum machinery and means to execute the sections that have been handed over. Localities beef up the propaganda and advocacy for people to understand the purpose, meaning and benefits of the project, thereby creating a high consensus in handing over the site, creating favorable conditions for the construction unit. In addition, branches and localities need to be flexible in mobilizing capital to pay and support households whose land is within the scope of site clearance; arrange resettlement locations for households in the area to be cleared.
