On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, on January 22, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts the elderly Party members and families with meritorious services to the revolution in the city; offered gifts to poor households and Covid groups in the community in Hung Yen city. He was accompanied by Mr. Pham Huy Binh, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of Hung Yen Municipal Party Committee; leaders of a number of boards, departments and branches of the province.

Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van visited and gave gifts to Mr. Bui Quang Kha, born in 1936, a fourth-class wounded soldier in Le Loi ward; Mr. Le Duc Thanh, born in 1930, 70-year-old Party member in An Tao ward. At the families, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van expressed his deep gratitude for the contributions and dedication of the war invalids and elderly members of the Party, and wished that he would continue to promote the revolutionary spirit, encourage generations of children and grandchildren together with the local people to actively work, study and contribute to the construction of the homeland and the country. Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Party committees and authorities at all levels of the city to continue to pay attention to and take care of the material and spiritual life of the families of elderly Party members, war invalids and poor households in the area, so that every family can have a warm and peaceful Tet holiday.

Then, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province including 17.4 tons of rice to support poor and near-poor households; offered 445 million VND to support Covid groups in the community and gave Tet gifts to representatives of poor households in the city.
