Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front chaired the conference. The conference drew the attendance of representatives of the Ministry of Health’s leaders. At the Hung Yen destination, the conference witnissed the participation of following comrades: Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Pham Thi Tuyen, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of the Department of Health and socio-political organizations.

Actively participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and its member organizations from the Central to local levels have timely grasped and implemented the tasks under the direction of the Secretariat and the Directives of the Prime Minister; promoted extensive propaganda to a large number of unionists, members and people of all strata to raise their awareness of the disease prevention; boosted the mobilization and support of people, delivered millions of masks and thousands of hand cleaner bottles free of charge to people, especially in the epidemic areas. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of all levels have actively enhanced the coordination with member organizations to promote the surveillance of disease prevention and control in many appropriate forms; maintained a permanent guard of 24/24 hours; coordinated to supervise the business establishments that have stored goods, increased the price of masks and medical equipment; supervised those subject under the isolation to strictly comply with the requests and instructions of functional agencies...

At the conference, Ministry of Health’s leaders informed about the situation of Covid-19 epidemic. Accordingly, the epidemic prevention and control in Vietnam is now entering phase 2 with many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp the Party and Government's views in the spirit of "fighting the epidemic is like fighting against the enemy" with the motto of "4 on the spot" to ensure the principles: Thorough prevention; early detection; isolation; zoning and stopping the epidemic, in which isolation is an extremely important measure to be taken... Therefore, it is recommended that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of all levels focus on propagating and encouraging people, neither bewildered nor subjective and neglected, to have proper awareness about the epidemic, actively participate in the disease prevention and control.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front requested: The Fatherland Front at all levels and the member organizations make a plan and report to the Party Committee, coordinate with the authorities to implement the direction of the Secretariat and the Prime Minister's Directives on the prevention and control of Covid-19 disease. In parallel with the epidemic prevention and control, the socio-economic development will be maintained, to ensure the order and security; continue to effectively implement the campaign "Vietnamese people priotise using Vietnamese goods"; propagate to a large number of officials, unionists, members and people of all strata to strictly implement the medical declaration; civil groups and the boards on front work grasp the situation of the locality to give specific and accurate information; the Fatherland Front collaborates with the health sector to promptly propagate and avoid inaccurate information on social networks that negatively affects people's psychology.

Speaking at the Hung Yen destination, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee asked on the basis of the conclusions at the conference of the Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and member organizations should strictly follow the direction of the Secretariat, the Government’s Directives and the health sector’s guidelines; proactively and actively together with all levels and branches to mobilize the entire population to synchronously implement the solutions to participate in the epidemic prevention and control; the Fatherland Front and its member organizations should continue to propagate to cadres, members, unionists and people, orient people to actively prevent the disease and mobilize the whole society in order to successfully implement the disease prevention and control; restrict the organization of crowded activities and festivals... the protection of health and disease prevention are on top priority; coordinate with the health sector to propose realistic and effective measures to protect people's health. He emphasized that the Party Congresses at all levels are happening, so it is necessary to follow the disease prevention process so that the congresses take place to ensure the regulations, solemnity and safety...
