At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 90-year tradition of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union in general and the process of building and maturing of the Provincial Farmers’ Association in particular. Over the past years, farmers' association work has been interested in, directed and facilitated by the Party committees and authorities at all levels; branches and unions have closely coordinated ... thus, the association's movements have strongly developed widely and deeply, notably in such three key movements as: farmers emulate good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably; farmers build new countryside; farmers take part in ensuring national defense and security. On average, each year, over 90,000 households register for the title of farmer produces and does business well at all levels, of which over 74,000 households are recognized ... From the association's movements, there are many good models and ways, which are replicated, many models bring tens of billions of VND each year, actively contributing to the implementation of the socio-economic development tasks; building strong association; ensuring political security, social order and safety in rural areas ...

Speaking at the ceremony, comrades: Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Luong Quoc Doan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province in recent years; praised 90 typical Chairmen of Farmers’ associations for the positive contributions to the association’s activities and the peasant movement. Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested to open up a number of contents of the Farmers' associations from province to grassroots levels that need to focus on implementing in the coming time such as: To continue to thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the Central about agriculture, farmers and rural areas; propagate and mobilize members and farmers to well implement the Party's undertakings and lines, the State's policies and laws, actively participate in the socio-economic development, well perform the role of main subjects in agricultural development and new-style rural areas construction. Associations at all levels need to strongly launch and improve the quality of emulation movements, the focus is on the movement "Farmers emulate good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably"; closely link in production, deeply participate in the value chain; actively help farmers to create, take the lead in the application of science and technology to develop production, processing and consumption of agricultural products; build and support households, groups of households and owners of good production and business farms, form key entrepreneurs in rural economic development; assist farmers in starting up, build brands and consume agricultural products; continue to well implement the link of "6 houses" (State - Entrepreneur - Scientist - Farmer - Banker - Distributor) in order to create scientific and synchronous agricultural production and associated with products processing and consumption. Farmers' associations at all levels actively participate in building the Party and authorities, coordinate well in implementing the conciliation at grassroots level; focus on improving qualifications, especially the skills of mobilizing farmers in the new era and the ability to apply information technology to adapt to the industrial revolution 4.0 ...

On this occasion, 90 typical Chairmen of Farmers’ associations were awarded the Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 104 individuals who contributed to the cause of the association work and the peasant movement of the province were awarded the Medal for Vietnamese peasantry class by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union.
