The Secretary of the Party Central Committee and the delegation were received by and worked with Mr. Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of Hung Yen provincial People's Committee.

At the working session, the Standing Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee reported the results of socio-economic development of the province in the period of 2011 - 2019. The average economic growth rate in the period of 2011 -2015 reached 7.85%, in the 2016-2020 period, it is estimated to reach at over 9%. The total budget revenue in 2019 is estimated to attain at over VND 14,450 billion, seeing an increase of 2.4 times as compared to 2011.

The whole province currently has 5 industrial parks in operation with the occupancy rate of about 80%. Especially, there is a positive shift, focusing on high-tech projects and supporting industry, especially foreign-invested projects.

The restructuring of agricultural sector is promoted. At present, 1/3 of agricultural land has been converted into growing fruit trees, flowers, ornamental plants and vegetables for high economic efficiency.

100% of communes meet the new rural standards, 4/10 district-level units are recognized to meet the new rural standards. The care of people's health, education and training is performed well.

The implementation of the Party's directives and resolutions is associated with the development of specific, practical, effective and suitable action program and plan to local practical conditions. The training and fostering of political theory from the provincial to grassroots levels are focused.

The implementation of the Political Bureau's Directive No. 05 on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is promoted. The province has completed the policy as the Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee cum the Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee at the provincial, district, town and city level; the Head of the Propaganda and Education Committee cum the Director of the District Political Training Center.

Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Xuan Thang highly appreciated the achievements of Hung Yen province on the socio-economic aspects and Party building in recent years.

At the same time, it is suggested that in the coming time, the province will continue promoting the advantages to develop the industrial economy, services and commercial economy, agricultural economy with the focus on commodity orientation; attaching importance to connecting tourism development to create the added value for localities and improve people's lives.

To continue to pay attention to the Party building, thoroughly grasp and implement the instructions, resolutions and conclusions of the Central Government, prepare the best conditions for the Party Congress at all levels in the province, towards the XIII Congress of the Party.

Provincial Party Secretary Do Tien Sy received the suggestions and contributions of Secretary of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Xuan Thang. At the same time, he proposed a number of issues such as the Central Government should study and adjust the rice land planning according to the specific characteristics of each locality, and set criteria for young cadres. the merging and streamlining must be effective; attaching importance to building and promoting the role of the working-class in the period of industrialization and modernization.
