Hung Yen insists on reducing crime rate in 2019

On January 21 afternoon, a nation teleconference, chaired by Mr. Truong Hoa Binh, Member of the Politburo, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the 138 National Steering Committee for Crime Prevention and Combat and the 389 National Steering Committee Against Smuggling, Trade Fraud and Counterfeit, was held to deploy the tasks in 2019.

At the Hung Yen destination, the conference saw the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the 138 Provincial Steering Committee and the 389 Provincial Steering Committee and members of the Provincial Steering Committees.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh praised the sectors and members of two Steering Committees from the central to localities in the past year to drastically direct, manage and contribute to the discovery and handling of a lot of outstanding cases of crime and smuggling nationwide.

Regarding to the central tasks in 2019, he asked members of two Steering Committees to continue to improve their work efficiency, open the peak of fight before, during and after the Lunar New Year in 2019. In addition, to fight against taking advantage of e-commerce activities to smuggle, trade frauds and transport contraband goods and unsafe food across borders.
