From 24 – 31, July, 2018, the delegation of Hung Yen province led by Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council, paid a working visit to promote the investment, trade and foreign relation in Ukraine. The delegation saw the participation of members in the Provincial Standing Committee: Ms.Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee for Propaganda and Training; Mr. Pham Huy Binh, Head of Internal Affairs of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of some departments, agencies, districts and city.

The provincial delegation at the Embassy of Vietnam in Ukraine 

The delegation had a working session with the Vietnamese People's Association and the Vietnamese Businessmen's Association in Kharkov (Ukraine). 

The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Xuan Tuyen asserted that the overseas Vietnamese community is an important part of the solidarity bloc and inseparable from Vietnamese people. At the same time, he appreciated the organization and solidarity of the Vietnamese community in Kharkov. In the process of integration abroad, the overseas community in Ukraine still preserves and maintains the national cultural identity. Especially, the overseas community has built Truc Lam - Kharkov Temple, Phu Dong Thien Vuong monument ... in Kharkov - which are spiritual cultural works and spread strongly in the life of the Vietnamese community in Ukraine. 

On this occasion, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Xuan Tuyen expected the leaders of the mass organizations in the community to care for the young generations to maintain and develop the activities of the community in the future and the Vietnamese businessmen community in Ukraine to be interested in investing in Hung Yen province, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. 

On July 26, the delegation in collaboration with Vietnamese community organizations, Vietnamese businesses in Kharkov and Hung Yen Countryman Association in Kharkov held a seminar to promote the investment in Hung Yen. 

The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Do Xuan Tuyen, introduced the potentials and strengths of the province, the long tradition of culture and in the past time, Hung Yen was one of the most crowded ports in the country so there was the old saying "The first is Kinh Ky, the second is Pho Hien". Hung Yen is always open to enterprises, businessmen, overseas compatriots in the world, including Hung Yen people to invest in the province. Hung Yen province is committed to strictly implementing the preferential policies on the investment attraction of the Central and also has many preferential policies for investors, shares the responsibility and facilitates, supports all aspects for the best operations of enterprises. 

On July 27, the delegation of the province attended the 71st anniversary of War Invalids - Martyrs Day (27.7.1947 - 27.7.2018) held by the Vietnam Veterans Association in Kharkov. 

The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Do Xuan Tuyen expressed his deep gratitude to families of war invalids, martyrs and families with meritorious services to revolution living in Kharkov. At the same time, he underlined that it is an opportunity for us to review the heroic tradition of the nation, educate the patriotism and spirit towards the nation of Vietnamese people in Ukraine. 

Mr. Tran Van Bay, President of the Vietnam Veterans Association in Kharkov expressed his deep appreciation when the delegation came to attend the ceremony, visited, presented gifts and paid the gratitude to the families of people with meritorious services to the country. 

The delegation had a working session with the Hung Yen Countryman Association in Kharkov. 

At the working session, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Xuan Tuyen introduced the socio-economic development of the province and the priority areas to attract investment, at the same time listened to the expectation of compatriots and discussed the situation of their working and living. He affirmed that the province always respects the sentiments and contributions of Hung Yen's compatriots to the homeland and the province; wants them to continue promoting the tradition of history, culture, patriotism and revolution of the province and the nation and striving for a better life in Ukraine as well as strengthening the support and contribution to the socio-economic development in the country, enhancing the cooperation, investment and production and business development in the province. 

On July 30, the delegation had a working session with the Embassy of Vietnam in Ukraine. On behalf of the delegation, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Xuan Tuyen informed the staff of the Embassy on the policy of attracting foreign investment of Hung Yen province and introduced the potentials and strengths of the province, especially in the fields of industry, trade, services and agriculture.

He asked the Embassy of Vietnam in Ukraine to introduce and encourage Ukrainian businesses to explore the investment and business environment of the province in order to invest and do business in Hung Yen province, as well as support and create favorable conditions for Vietnamese enterprises in Ukraina to return to invest in Hung Yen. 

Ambassador Nguyen Anh Tuan appreciated the policies of Hung Yen province in promoting the relation with Ukraine in general and Kharkov in particular as well as enhancing the connection with the Vietnamese community in Ukraine. He informed the delegation about the political and socio-economic situation, especially the business environment of Ukraine and the Ukraine-Vietnam relation in all areas in recent time. 

He hoped that after this trip, Hung Yen province will further search and implement cooperation projects with Ukraine in line with the potentials and strengths of Hung Yen, contributing to implementing well the policies of the Party and State in foreign affairs. 

On this occasion, Hung Yen provincial delegation paid a visit to the businesses and the Vietnamese community, visited Truc Lam – Kharkov Temple and some economic models of Ukraine.
