At the working session, Provincial Party Secretary Do Tien Sy reported to State President Tran Dai Quang and the delegation on the socio-economic development of the province. In the first 6 months, the socio-economic development of the province has gained positive results. Gross domestic product increased by 8.68%, the industrial production and construction value rose by 9.99%; trade and services, agriculture, forestry and fishery all increased; total investment capital for development reached over 14 trillion VND. Budget revenue is estimated to reach at VND5, 855 billion, achieving 48.8% of the year plan. The investment attraction is good. The movement of new rural construction achieved positive results. The culture, health, education and social welfare policies are paid attention to; the administrative reform and anti-corruption work has been attached the importance to; the military and local defense work, security and order insurance have been strengthened... 

State President Tran Dai Quang expressed his joy and excitement over the achievements of Hung Yen province in recent years. At the same time, he highly appreciated the proposed policies and solutions to bring into full play the advantages and strengths of the socio-economic development. He asked the province to continue paying attention to the Party building and rectification; fighting against corruption and negatives; promoting administrative reform; attaching importance to attracting the industry; developing hi-tech agricultural production; expanding occupations to create jobs for laborers... He believes that with the right direction and concrete roadmap, Hung Yen province will continue to develop sustainably and successfully achieve the objectives and tasks that the provincial Party Congress has set out.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Provincial Party Secretary Do Tien Sy appreciated the sentiment and received the guidance and suggestion of State President for the orientation of the socio-economic development of the province. At the same time, he affirmed to continue cooperating with the provincial Party Executive Committee to focus on leading, guiding and proposing appropriate solutions to effectively implement the socio-economic development tasks. 

On this occasion, President Tran Dai Quang presented the Uncle Ho's painting to Hung Yen province.

Throughout his life, he has contributed immensely to the construction of the country. The delegates vowed to follow his example, unite and strive to build the country more and more powerful.

* On the occasion of the 71th anniversary of the War Invalids - Martyrs Day (27.7.1947 - 27.7.2018), President Tran Dai Quang and the delegates offered flowers and incenses at the Monument to heroic martyrs of the province; the National Heritage of La Tien Banyan tree and Temple (Nguyen Hoa Commune, Phu Cu). At these places, President Tran Dai Quang expressed his deep emotion and gratitude for heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the motherland.

On this occasion, President Tran Dai Quang visited and gave gifts to Ms. Dang Thi Thu's family in La Tien hamlet, Nguyen Hoa commune (Phu Cu). Ms. Thu is the daughter of the martyr Dang Dinh Kien, who sacrificed in 1952 at La Tien tree. President Tran Dai Quang affirmed that with the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source", "Gratitude is the sign of noble souls", the Party, State and people always care for martyrs' families, veterans, sick soldiers, people with merits. He hoped that Thu's family, as well as local families in preferential treatment policy would continue to promote the traditions of the homeland and family, actively emulate in working and production, participate in local movements...
